Recruitment Consultant

Permanent recruitment and sales consultant position based in our offices in Portchester, full time, £35-45k OTE. + benefits.

We are looking for someone who has a proven working knowledge of the complete recruitment and sales cycle for temporary recruitment within the Education & Childcare sector, or a proven successful track record running a busy temporary desk within another recruitment industry.

35-45k p.a. OTE. Uncapped monthly commission structure, and a quarterly bonus scheme. Up to 30 days holiday p.a. To be based with our friendly team in Portchester. What are we looking for
  • An enthusiasm to work as part of a close team
  • Proven ability to manage high volume temporary bookings combined with some permanent recruitment
  • A good understanding of relevant recruitment legislation
  • A good knowledge of the safer recruitment legislation for schools
  • Experience of the complete recruitment cycle (from advertising/pre-screening/interviewing to placements/filling bookings)
  • Confidence with sales, and a clear understanding of the sales cycle
  • Ability to work to quality standards
  • Shared On-Call answer phone cover (occasional evenings and weekends)
  • Shared shift office cover (to ensure the office is staffed from 7.00am - 5.45pm)
  • 40 hours per week (1 hour lunch), Monday to Friday
  • Previous recruitment qualifications or training desirable but not essential
  • The ability to multi-task, organise workload and prioritise
  • A willingness to work to strict processes & procedures
